Welcome to Noosa – Meet Bill

The summer has arrived. Yet the dark clouds and driving rain have persisted in hampering Bill’s favourite beach pursuit. Today as he awoke and the rays streamed through patchy cloud, he chose not to miss what has been a rare opportunity lately. He opened his draw and found the neatly folded pair of red budgie smugglers (speedos) in patient await. Combined with a straw hat, his uniform was complete. Chair, book and towel, he trotted down through the main strip of Noosa, past the coffee sippers and high-fashion stores. He eventually traversed down the short path and out onto the sand, the deep blue ocean before him. He observed the wind blowing the red and yellow flags that marked where it was ok to swim. He noted that it was stronger than ideal, but sufficiently tranquil for a day of bronzing. The chair snapped into place. Bill settled in. A group of learner surfers shuffled past, excited at the prospect of their first stand-up wave. Bill had recently retired from surfing, no longer craving the exhilaration it provided. He now found that solace in his books.

I love a day on the beach with a good book. Viva summer!

What i fine pair of smugglers they are. What sort of thread count do you think they would be? My grandma says 97 but i think 102. I think he goes for the one item rule. You can either spend all your money buying several bits of clothing to form an outfit or you can pool all your hard earned and buy one amazing piece. Well done. A true pioneer. That is all.
